Squash Soup That Heal Inflammation

I am already loving this new book!

My new year resolution is of course to lose a few pounds but more importantly reduce any inflammation in my body.

Did you know autoimmune diseases like arthritis can be controlled by what you eat?

Certain foods especially the “3 Ps” foods (*Processed *Packaged *Prepared Foods) will spike the inflammation response in the body. Inflammation is a crucial process by which the body’s white blood cells and substances they produce protect the area of injury or infection. So whenever the body’s defense system think it’s under attacks against either bacteria, viruses, or other foreign invaders causes damage to its own tissues.

Here are a few common autoimmune diseases that you may suffer from:

Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, Gouty arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, Psoriasis (skin), Celiac disease (small intestine),
Ankylosing spondylitis (vertebrae), Addison's disease (adrenal glands), Lupus and many more

Symptoms of inflammation include:

  • Redness
  • Swollen
  • Heat
  • Pain
  • Joint Stiffness

This recipe below helps fight cold or flu and easy to digest. A perfect meal for the winter months. Attached to my blog on the right hand side is a link to the this book if you wish to purchase for yourself or a friend. Enjoy!
